Since school began in September, the students and teachers have been very busy with their lessons while PTO parents have been busy helping in classrooms and planning events for the school. Here is just some of what PTO parents will be doing this year: Fundraisers: - Box Tops for Education collections & contests are organized by Stacey Forkner.
- Kemps Milk Caps collections by Amy Draskovich.
- Monthly Scrip Gift Card Sales are organized by Joan Kieckhefer.
- Campbell’s Soup Labels is coordinated by Kelly Bragg.
- Classroom Basket Raffle is coordinated by Joan Kieckhefer.
- Marcus Movie Tickets is coordinated by Jodi Fischer.
- Pasta Fundraiser is coordinated by Sara Lilla.
Student Fun: - PAWS for Reading Event chaired Amy Draskovich.
- Halloween’s “Fall Fest” party is organized by Denise Strasser.
- “Honor Roll Recognition” celebrations are chaired by Laura Baker.
- The Secret Santa’s Shop is chaired by Michelle Ciezki.
- Cookies and Milk at Winter Concert chaired by Sue Bachofen.
- Chill Out Reading Event chaired by Sue Bachofen.
- Camp Read A-Lot chaired by Amy Draskovich.
- Year-end carnival is run by Val Bluhm & Joan Kieckhefer.
School Service: - School Directories are put together by Leah & Mike Borchardt.
- Parent-Teacher Conference dinners are headed up by Jodi Fischer.
- Teacher Appreciation Week in May will be coordinated by Denise Strasser.
- Spirit Days & Bulldog t-shirts, for kindergartners and other students new to Washington School, are organized by Amy Schachl.
