Some PTO Programs
Since school began in September, the students and teachers have been very busy with their lessons while PTO parents have been busy helping in classrooms and planning events for the school. Here is just some of what PTO parents will be doing this year: Fundraisers: - 2008-09 Market Day Fundraising is being chaired by Kasey Verette and Jodi Fischer.
- 2008-09 Box Tops for Education collections & contests are organized by Stacey Forkner.
- Campbell’s Soup Labels and Kemps Milk Cap Fundraising is coordinated by Val Bluhm.
- Mr. Z's Spring Sale is coordinated by Robyn Theriault.
Student Fun: - Monthly Spirit Day Contests are run by Kasey Verette & Denise Strasser.
- Halloween’s “Fall Fest” party is organized by Denise Strasser.
- “Honor Roll Recognition” celebrations are chaired by Cheryl Strasser.
- The Secret Santa’s Shop is chaired by Karen Terrian.
- Year-end carnival is run by Val Bluhm, Kasey Verette, and Christy Anderson.
School Service: - School Directories are put together by Leah & Mike Borchardt.
- Parent-Teacher Conference dinners are being headed up by Jodi Fischer.
- Teacher Appreciation Week in May will be coordinated by Karen Terrian & Jodi Fischer.
- Spirit Days & Bulldog t-shirts, for kindergartners and other students new to Washington School, are organized by Val Bluhm.
